June 11, 2010Three days ahead of Colombia's second round of presidential elections, Americas Society and Council of the Americas hold their annual conference, “Colombia in the Eyes of Wall Street” in Bogota, featuring high level speakers such as Finance Minister Oscar Zuluaga.
This year’s conference, themed “International Recovery and Goals for Colombia,” will address the country's current economic and investment climate and chart a way forward in the regional and global contexts. Through presentations and panel discussions, the conference will examine the presidential candidates' economic platforms, Colombia's investment grade, pending economic reforms, and the risks and rewards associated with these reforms.
